PSICOLOGÍA BASADA EN LA EVIDENCIA: ALGUNAS CUESTIONES BÁSICAS Y UNA APROXIMACIÓN A TRAVÉS DE UNA REVISIÓN BIBLIOGRÁFICA SISTEMÁTICA

Resumen

La comunicación tiene como objetivo desarrollar el concepto de Evidencia aplicada a la praxis psicológica, partiendo de un breve recorrido por aspectos conceptuales y sobre procesos, actores e instituciones científicas, a través de los cuales se gestionan y acreditan las propuestas de intervenciones –expresadas en Guías y Protocolos- en salud, educación, formación, entre otros campos.
Se presentan, además, los resultados de una revisión bibliográfica sistemática de artículos presentados entre 2003-2013, en publicaciones arbitradas e indizadas, recogidas en el SocIndex, Medline, Eric, Academic Search Complete; en español e inglés; con la exclusión de aquellos estudios que usaron la nominación de Evidencia en forense, legal o cuando el término era tomado en tanto prueba, certeza y otros trabajos que comparten el uso genérico de la palabra y no el del concepto que aquí se estudia.Los hallazgos arrojaron 196 publicaciones, 41 de las cuales cumplen con los criterios señalados. Fueron agrupadas según campo de aplicación de la Psicología, registrando un 49% en el área de Psicología Clínica, 24% en Psicología Educacional y del Desarrollo, 15% referidas a Formación en Psicología y 12% en Psicología de la Salud.
Los resultados de este acercamiento exploratorio indican que, se amplía el ámbito de estudio bajo la modalidad de la PBE, no obstante se observan las dificultades y diferencias en el uso del constructo y en la consolidación de las metodologías más eficaces; con un énfasis marcado de publicaciones que contienen discusiones a nivel conceptual.
