Her name is famous among teenagers, who follow her as if she were a rock star or a media personality. However, Cecilia Curbelo is a writer. With her novels, she accomplished something that seems more and more difficult: conquering an audience that usually escapes from books. "La decisión de Camila", on her eighth edition, "Las dos caras de Sofía", also a best seller, and "Este libro es mío",an interactive notebook, have caused a successful editorial phenomenon, which feeds on social networking sites. It is there where her readers comment on the stories, exchange experiences and even consult the author on their problems. But before the success and accolades, among them the 2011 Cervantes award and the 2012 "Bartolomé Hidalgo Revelación", Curbelo had many different jobs and made risky choices in order to dedicate herself to her calling. With the same enthusiastic spirit with which she creates her stories and takes on her projects, the writer talked about the journey that led her to her books, when she was about to publish "La confesión de Micaela", her latest work.
