• Research articles for the dossier “Museums in the digital society”

The deadline for submitting research articles for the thematic dossier “Museums in the digital society” has been extended to December 15, 2025.

The aim of this dossier is to bring together research that contributes to the analysis and reflection on communication and media practices related to museography, new technologies and new media in museums and exhibition spaces, and the impact of AI on museography and the user experience.

• Miscellaneous research articles

Original and unpublished works in the field of communication—which may be in dialogue with other disciplines in the arts, humanities, and social sciences—are accepted until December 15, 2025, with a length of between 6,000 and 8,000 words (including references, notes, tables, and figures).

Dixit publishes articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. The journal is annual, open access, and continuously published.

Submissions are sent through the journal's platform, in accordance with the guidelines for authors.
