Abstract

It is studied and evaluated the ethical and legal standards included in the main National and International documents stipulating political measures concerning prevention and control of researcher’s misconduct. Finally, it is proposed some minimal operational steps to efficiently assure the future integrity in research such as the permanence of the raw data for scrutiny of colleagues, the obligation of anonymous reporting of misconduct, and changing the incentives for academic production.
