Abstract

Abstract: The object of the present study es a classical issue but one that, may be because of that, remains actual. The article starts by a brief general theory concerning the principles of law, which will demand the study of ius-philosophical matters, as the general concept of principle, its difference from the particular rules of law, the derivation of the rules of law from the principles of law, the functions of the principles of law, and the classic discussion between natural law theory and legal positivism regarding the source of principles of law. The work ends with a brief enumeration of the principles of Labour Law generally accepted.
