Atualizações das propriedades psicométricas da versão brasileira da escala ASRS-18

O objetivo desta pesquisa foi apresentar atualizações de evidências de validade com base na estrutura interna da ASRS-18. Foram realizados dois estudos, uma análise fatorial exploratória (AFE), e uma análise fatorial confirmatória (AFC). Em direção oposta ao que a literatura sugere para o instrumento a AFE indicou adequação do modelo de um fator, dado que sustentou a decisão em relação ao número de fatores a serem retidos. Uma vez determinada a estrutura da escala foram realizadas análises AFC e AFC multigrupo para avaliação das características do instrumento. Os resultados obtidos na AFC inicialmente não foram satisfatórios, observando-se itens com altas correlações residuais, explicadas pela redundância de conteúdo entre itens, assim optou-se pela redução da quantidade de itens do instrumento, bem como as análises indicaram adequação da escala tanto para uso em prática clínica quanto em pesquisa. Por fim a AFC multigrupo demonstrou que a variável gênero influenciava no padrão de reposta da escala, mulheres precisavam de maior traço latente para pontuar mais alto nos itens de desatenção e menor traço para os itens de hiperatividade. A ASRS-18 proposta apresenta um modelo preciso e estável para mensuração do transtorno do déficit de atenção e hiperatividade (TDAH). Sugere-se a utilização de uma versão reduzida do instrumento, assim como novas pesquisas para ampliar a avaliação das propriedades psicométricas. No âmbito clínico é recomendável considerar as sugestões apresentadas nas discussões do presente estudo para avaliação de sintomas de TDAH para o critério A de acordo com o DSM.
